Maggy2

Makes printing easier, cheaper, and more user friendly

Maggy  enables you to organize your printing facilities to seamlessly meet the requirements of your organization. For example, you can establish paid printing and thereby get a better insight in your printing behaviour. Many organizations have experienced the benefits of the Maggy printing service. Think, for example, about saving toners and paper, printing confidential documents without safety risk, and cancelling erroneous print jobs. You can do it all with Maggy. The software functions both on a Novell Netware and a Microsoft Windows 2003 network. From now on, printing will be easier, cheaper and more user friendly.

Maggy offers the following options:

  • Charged printing: You can choose to pay for print jobs either by card or network account.
  • Follow me printing: Collect print jobs from a random network printer
  • Secure printing: Print confidential documents on public printers.
  • Printing on demand: Print jobs are not printed until confirmation is given by the creator.

Practical examples

Charged printing in a public area

In a public area PC-users do not have a standard work space, and usually no personal login name either. Take, for instance, a public library. With Maggy you can make use of charged printing in this environment.

Charged printing in a cardless environment

Using pay cards may be a costly business. In order to realize charged printing Maggy can use pay cards, but does not require them. Maggy enables you to provide network users with a personal print account that they can use to pay for their prints.
