Aenova > Microsoft Certified Partner
Microsoft has officially recognized Aenova as a Certified Partner. Certified Partners possess a high level of skill and expertise concerning Microsoft technologies, and are able to prove their competence. In order to obtain this certification organizations must be able to prove that they meet a number of specifications. For this reason Microsoft has developed certain tests, a number of which is performed by customers. Again, we wish to express our thanks to our clients that agreed to lend us their cooperation.
TimEnterprise > Microsoft Competency
TimEnterprise, too, has been certified by Microsoft. The system has obtained a so-called 'ISV/software Solution Competency'. In order to obtain one, an external organization must perform what is known as a Platform Test. This external organization was selected by Microsoft. TimEnterprise has successfully completed the test. Obtaining the competence has added to the recognition of Aenova as a Microsoft Certified Partner.
Maggy2 > Print on project basis
When you give a print command, it is possible to select a project in Maggy2. This enables you to accurately book printing costs on certain projects. You can define the available projects to a user in advance. This creates a highly accurate option that is also suitable for charging costs on external projects.
Maggy2 > Modified print costs at selected periods of time
In order to enable printing at a different price for a specific duration of time, an expansion module has been developed for Maggy2. With this module you can establish, for example, free printing during a class hour. Employees who are authorized can specify the length of the period for a specific printer, and also set the price of the print costs within this period.
TimEnterprise > Resource Planning Module
When working on projects you will need to select employees (resources) that have the required competences for tasks within a project. This requires a good planning and a system providing the necessary support. With the help of the planning module you can easily create and update resource plans. Because the schedule module and the BPI (Budget, Planning and Information) module are integrated with one another, you get a complete overview of the available capacity, the planned attendance and the calculated costs.
Aenova > Moving to a new building
On 9 February 2007 Aenova Software moved to a new building in the center of Delft. The old building had gotten a little small to house the organization. Keeping further growth in the future in mind, the organization decided to move to an office located at the Mijnbouwstraat, Delft.
TimEnterprise > Developing the Web client: Approving by web
Apart from time entry, report options, schedule and leave functionalities for the end user, the TimEnterprise web client offers more and more options for the administrators. It is, for example, now possible to use the approve matrix in the web client. The approve matrix is part of the approval screen in TimEnterprise. It shows a clear overview of all time and expense registrations. Administrators can approve, accept and reject registrations in this screen.
Maggy2 > Pop Up
A new feature in Maggy2 is an automatic Pop Up that appears on the personal work station after giving a print command. Then, the end user can immediately confirm or delete the print job. The end users of Maggy2 are now even better informed of the status of their personal print jobs. You don't need to open a web page yourself; the Pop Up screen automatically appears after a print command has been given. The Pop Up renders the use of a Novell Netware or Microsoft Windows message service unnecessary.
TimEnterprise> LDAP, eDirectory & Active Directory
The base module contains facilities that enable the use of directory services as LDAP, Novell eDirectory and Active Directory in TimEnterprise. With these services you can use your network's existing authorization structure to enforce a reliable authentication within TimEnterprise. An additional effect is that new employees are automatically entered into the TimEnterprise database with the correct settings and authorizations after they have been added to the network directory.
TimEnterprise > International version
With the international version of TimEnterprise you can present the user interface in different languages. Country-specific settings like data representation, decimal values, etc. will also be taken into account. The TimEnterprise server supports the activation of various languages at the same time. Thereby making it possible for employees to select different language options. At the moment, apart from the Dutch version, only the English language version is available. Other languages will be added at a later stage.
TimEnterprise > Schedule module
This new module enables you to generate schedules to record the planned attendance of employees. These schedules can be automatically generated on the base of starting criteria, or be entered manually. The attendance views are based on schedules. Those schedules can be used in combination with the request module in order to enable the automatic registration of leave, holidays and sick time.
Maggy2 > new module: MagJobWeb
The introduction of the web-based module MagJobWeb offers the end user extra options to process print jobs. After opening an internet page, users are shown their own print jobs and can confirm or delete those print jobs at their own work station. This module renders a PC station at the printer redundant, since print jobs don't have to be confirmed at the printer anymore.
Maggy2 > new module: LogView
The new module LogView offers authorized employees the possibility to view detailed information about each print job. This way one can check the status of the job and any corresponding transactions. The account changes through MagBuy, MagBatch and MagDesk can also be viewed this way.
TimEnterprise > Request module
Through the Request module procedures for requesting and accepting leave can be realized. Sickness registration is also included in this module. The request module can employ email to communicate with those employees and executives concerned. Both executives and employees can view the planned attendance and the number of available hours of leave.
TimEnterprise > Scheduler
The scheduler enables the pre-programming of all kinds of processes and tasks that are to be executed -if so required, automatically repetitively- by the central TimEnterprise application server at a pre-set time-of-day. For instance, you can automatically start up interfaces with other systems, or run check-ups of which the result is -depending on the outcome- sent by email messages to the various employees.
Maggy2 > Novell support ready
Maggy could already be implemented in a Novell environment and supported NDPS, but up to now, the Maggy application server had to be installed on a Windows or Linux server. That has changed now: Maggy can now also be installed on a Novell server.
Maggy2 > new module: MagStat
This module enables you to generate various reports that give you an overview of the use of the printing facilities. The reports are generated with the data logged by Maggy in an SQL database. MagStar comes with various ingenious standard report options, but you can also design and save your own new report definitions. Apart from reports in a list or matrix form, you can also generate graphs and diagrams with MagStat. If so required, the reports can be exported as PDF files or in a sign-separated or Excel format.
Maggy2 > Windows Support ready
Since the last quarter of 2005, Maggy2 is now ready to be run in a Microsoft Windows environment. Before that, Maggy only supported Novell and NDPS. You can make use of a Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003 server. Hereby enabling to process print jobs from both a Microsoft Windows environment and a Novell Netware environment with only one central Maggy2 server.
